Just a touch of Easter

Thank you for all you sweet comments, you really are a lovely bunch!

I'm supposed to be in the garden today - motivation is severely lacking I'm afraid, so I thought I'd find a little distraction..

Just a little Easter vingnette in the conservatory.
The tulips were my Aunts, very old and delicate as they're made from glass.

I know they were very special to her, and I love them too :o)

Do you like them?  I've never seen any others, but I'd love to add to them.
Mom told me they were in their childhood home.

The bunnies have been collected over the last couple of years - many of them shown on my blog as I found them.

I've loved egg shapes for years, here's just a little of my collection displayed in a basket.

I've also added my silk blossoms hanging with Easter decorations to the hearth,
though after looking at it I'm going to move the Staffordshire dogs - it's just too cluttered!

Hope everyone has a great weekend....I'm finally off into the garden - I should have planted the potatoes a couple of weeks ago (but my back put paid to that).

Best wishes

You look all set for Easter, the only thing missing is eggs of the chocolate variety.
I am sure they will appear next weekend with the Easter Bunny! Abby x

Looked back through a few posts, you certainly like the junk don't you. Clutter, clutter, clutter just about sums it up.
It's not even tasteful stuff, just junk.

Dear Anonymous
You neither have to look at it, house it, or clean it, nor do you have the courage to leave your name...you really are pityful.
Go and play with the children dear!

omg, rose, i cannot believe that person left that comment! and i would not have published their hateful words. your tulips are gorgeous and i have not seen anything like that before! i love your dear bunnies and pretty eggs! thank you so much for sharing your pretties, i really enjoyed your post!

Thank you Kritter Keeper, I'm especially pleased you like the tulips as they mean such a lot to me.
I did consider removing the negative comment, but folk are entitled to their opinions, and I believe they would get more of a kick if it was removed - The world is filled with dark and shade, this person must live in the dark as they obviously lack the courage to back their words with an identity. They think I'm sad, but I think they need a little more light and a good mirror!

I've never seen glass flowers! The tulips are amazing and so beautiful, and I'm thinking the lovely cut glass vase must be heavy to stop from tipping over!

Love your bunnies - the large white one in the last pic looks like a sibling to the ones in my collection - must have hopped across the pond, lol!

I love everything you collect Rose, keep on showing us your antiques and vintage treasures please!!!!

Joyful Easter greetings to you today.
Hugs - Mary

Hi Rose, I looove tulips, I live about 30 miles from an area that grows tulips just for their bulbs, that they in turn, ship to Holland...who would have thought!? So you must know, I looove your glass tulips! I've never seen anything like them before! Gorgeous!!! I enjoy looking at all your Easter goodies, but I had to smile when I saw the adorable chicks with baseball caps on...truly adorable! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving your sweet message, I really appreciate it! xo Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs
