I am a 'collector' and discover there is no cure!
I love things that have been used or treasured by their former owner and have a history. I like to shop in charity shops and car boot sales to see what bargains take my fancy. Amongst my (many) collections there are: paperweights, cats, ceramics, especially blue and white and better yet with a dragon on it, old linens, teddy bears and anything unusual or a bit wacky.
I love wildlife, and photograph and blog about visitors to my garden.
I'm hoping to share with you some of my bargains, collectibles and treasures gathered over the years; as well as some of the stories behind them.
I live on the outskirts of a large village in South Staffordshire.
I do hope you enjoy your visit, and come back again - soon!
Please leave a comment I really appreciate them and love to read them.
20/10/14 amended.
Since I have had to care for my elderly mother (who suffers with dementia) my life and it's priorities have changed, I rarely buy things for my 'collections' and I've even started to get rid of some things! My interest in wildlife has taken over, and if I get chance to 'escape' for and hour or two off I go with my camera and try to get some shots of our wonderful British wildlife.
